This product is an improvement over the last batch of 420 TVL camera's I got last year and cost about the same. Similar design...

The colour rendering is better, the image details are better, it's just better.

This type of camera is quite easy to set up. Simply unscrew the camera from it's base and housing; the whole thing turns. Screw the base to your wall/fence/pole and then screw the rest of the bodywork and camera back on ensuring the photocell is facing down. Hook up your wires and you're good to go.

In my case these are used down near ground level (no more than 8ft from the ground)and tuned with the focus and zoom screws to view particular areas. I use them to cover a garden and above the main doorway and can easily recognise facial details when set up this way and perfectly capable of reading number plates from 40 - 50 ft away (when set up properly) during the day, at night the picture still looks fairly sharp however the infra red reflects off number plates and they appear solid white and unreadable. Nothing much you can do about that though.

I use this camera with a DVR. A purpose built cctv hard disk recorder.

Before buying ensure you have something that can record at 700 TVL, a DVR that can record at D1 for example. D1 seems to be the best resolution available for general consumer systems at the moment. An ordinary boring TV is good enough for viewing.

Overall I'd say this camera is good for purpose, relatively cheap and feels fairly robust.

This is a fantastic camera. This price, for what you are getting is very good. I was lucky enough to get this camera when it was even cheaper believe it or not, but even for this price I'll be buying more.
This camera truly has it all. Full Pan Tilt Zoom, wireless or wired, the best night vision I've ever seen in a camera, motion detection with the ability to send you a stream of pictures (sends 6 pictures when it detects movement), full user. If you're using Internet Explorer on windows, you get the added bonus of two way sound. The microphone is very sensitive and I've been able to hear people talking (not making out every word) from one end of the house to the other. You can also talk back as the camera has an in built speaker (which I admit is very loud, but it is built into the speaker. People stood in front of the camera can hear and understand you, but then the camera also has a speaker out port, so you can connect to something bigger if you choose). I could go on as there are even more features, but the last one I'll mention which is probably the most useful is the fact that you can view, control and even hear and speak through the camera using an iPhone! I'm a technical and security specialist and have spent a long time researching what's on the market and I can confidently say you won't get as feature rich or robust camera as this for a lot more money.

Fast and free shipping: Ordered online Wednesday afternoon and got it when I arrived home Friday. That was amazingly fast, because they scheduled to deliver next Friday.

Easy installation and setting up: When I saw this camera, I can say it is designed and made with attention to detail. Small size and looks smart. The package has everything you needed for installation, even has a very tiny and cute screw driver. Following the one page menu, after 3 minutes, I was able to see myself through the camera on my iPhone. Just so easy to hook up. It is much easier than my previous monitor made by Foscam. And I added this camera to my wife's Android phone and my own PC. And we can view from the three devices at the same time. That's just great.

Really good picture quality: High definition picture, definitely yes. It almost has the same quality as my Canon vedio recorder. And there is no lag, I can see my son running in the family room from the camera, which impressed me a lot because when I compared some security cameras at Hhgreg and most of them have a significant lag of movement.

I really liked how the installation was fast and easy, and the entire setup was complete within half an hour without problems. The camera is integrated with web-based monitoring software with some pretty standard features including navigation, pan, tilt (with adjustable speeds), mirror & flip. The image is clear with faces clearly identifiable. The color balance seems to be better than other IP cameras. Just note that the built-in IR LEDs do illuminate the surroundings after dark, and draws attention to the camera which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you need it for. I would highly recommend using an IP Cam app to view the video on your phone or tablet. It is much smoother, and easier to set up than the web interface. Of course, I also use FireFox to view the camera if I happen to be on my desktop computer.As a baby monitor, I think it holds up quite well!

I have used about seven different wildlife scouting cameras and I must say this camera really is a great buy if you want HD video also with good audio quality for a reasonable price. The only cameras competing with this one are Bushnell's other more advanced models. Very good service and fast delivery also kept me informed of the expected delivery of the item which was very nice of them. As long as the battery is working the camera works perfectly. i did drop my first camera onto a concrete floor which sadly broke the clip that holds the batteries in and couldnt mend it so i had to buy another camera.

Day vision is very good and the area covered is also very good, the nightvision is also good, i have my cameras mounted on the window sill on the first floor approx 3m up and the ir lights light up an area approx 4m x 6m. very good product good quality picture. we have it in our outdoor aivery for a harris hawk . night vision is great quality picyure for the price this is all in a great camera. we did have to go to maplins to buy a double connector and lead ( it can only be a certain type of cable used to work ) that in total cost £16 so still a great bargain all for £37 with lead and conector and camera. The conector we brought had a power lead attached plus the connector so that it would transmit for the tv so there was no wireing at all or an electrician needed like we first thought apart from the arial that led from the unit to the house that we just put through existing hole in wall where bt vision cable comes through. hope this helps so glad we purchased we did not think it would be as good quality due to the price how wrong we was

this is a nice looking little cam corder the windscreen holder is as much use as a chocolate fireguard it wont stay on the screen ( i found myself timing how long it stayed on during a 14 hour journey)I couldn't get a proper angle with the camera because the mount is very limited with its movement and cant get it in a good filming position. the camera 2.5 inch screen is set up for a left hand drive vehicle so its got to be right over to the right of the windscreen if you want to view whilst travelling thus restricting the view on screen again. the instruction book is written in pigeon English and is very poor in detail as to the workings and the items on screen is none existent. as with all recorders I find this is of no use to view a number plate as it doesn't zoom that far out to get the plate clearly and when viewing on hdmi or pc there's no zoom facility in playback mode so still cant read number plates. the sound is not very good its very low even though its turned up to the highest record setting. but then again who wants to listen to me singing. one good thing the picture is of very good quality using a class 4 sd card 16gb
