This is a really great product. I am not very technical, but it was straightforward to set up and as others have said, it did do exactly what it said on the box.
Having read a lot of reviews across the internet I was pleasantly surprised that they had taken note of some of some of the comments and had included a short power lead extension, which proved very useful.
But for me the thing that has really makes it is the technical support service. I had some worrying email warning notifications from the camera and sent an email to the support people over the weekend not expecting much of a reply. But I was very impressed to find them extremely responsive, helpful and patient. It turned out to be just a tick box setting change on my on-line account, but just knowing you can get help makes the all the difference.
And if that isn't recommendation enough, I have now bought a second camera for inside the house.
I have bought a number of WiFi IP addressable cameras. This is by far the best in picture quality and accessibility. I will definitely buy more. My only minor criticism is that compression isn't great - probably as a result of it being such high quality - you can only view the one camera at a time. I did try to register the camera with EyeSpy247 which didn't work, but for me this wasn't important for me. Overall a superb camera, built to a high quality and with excellent picture quality and accessibility.
I now have two of these remarkable little units. I bought one to start with although I knew I'd need a second, because you never know how a new piece of technology is going to work out.
Mounted the first one on our front gate which is about 70 metres from the house and before I even connected up the ethernet cable I realised I was getting wifi signal! There are trees and two block walls between the gate and the wifi router. Then I connected the ethernet cable and used a TP-Link power-over-ethernet unit TP-Link Power over Ethernet Adapter Kit Including 1 Injector and 1 Splitter to get both the power supply and the signal to/from the camera. Once again, the unit didn't blink, it just got on with it.
Obviously, I then went and bought the second unit, mounted it on the back gate which is very slightly closer, same experience - worked straight out of the box. You'll spend more time tinkering with the motion sensitivity than you ever do getting the thing set up in the first place.
I've allocated fixed IP addresses to each of the cameras, and using DynDNS (which the cameras natively support) I can access live images from anywhere there's an internet connection.
What's not to like? Maybe the software could be a bit nicer, but there are plenty of third-party alternatives out there - I'm using Luxriot. All in all, these cameras do a fabulous job without costing a fortune.
This product does exactly what it says on the package. Easy to install for anyone with a bit of computer know how at a very basic level. The advanced features would need a bit more savvy but not everyone would want them.
I installed it into my network in minutes, registered it and deployed it. I can view from my iPhone but would advise caution has it eats your data allowance very quickly.
I have it set up to record onto my NAS drive and it's fantastic. The picture quality even at night is great. Email alerts from eyespy are frequent, too frequent for my liking but you can just disable them if it's a problem.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a simple and affordable solution to security.

Well-built compact outdoor ip camera. So easy to install outside. I bought an extra bracket so I can use inside when needed - very versatile
I am impressed with the build quality, solid and robust. The picture quality is good during the day and also good at night too.
Few minor niggles
I needed a longer extension power cable than was supplied - had a real job trying to get the waterproof connection cover on to the new extension power lead. It would be good to supply a spare.
A good manual, some of the settings needed a bit more detail as to what they do, however, that could just be me not knowing what it means!
Would I recommend this camera? - Yes I would

Really like this camera and the user interface. It has plenty of features and is relatively easy to setup and install. The one thing I miss having however is a proper zoom (not digital). I would like to use one of these outside (sheltered) with a zoom lens.
Have had this camera for 2-weeks now and it is EXACTLY what I needed. Really easy to set up (there are YouTube video tutorials if needed) and once I had everything up and running, the support team at Eyespy247 were fantastic at helping me to fine-tune my settings!
I can monitor my front-door live from anywhere in the world and when I'm away, the camera generates emails when it detects motion that link to the clip that it has recorded! The image quality both during the day and at night is fantastic.
A brilliant product that I can highly recommend!
Set up the camera on a Mac so couldn't use the easy PC set up software included.
It's not too intuitive so be careful to read everything and watch the YouTube videos carefully.
As in 'allo allo' everything is said "Only Once".
All said and done it's now running on both my mac and iPhone pretty much as advertised with no need of any additional help.
My first network camera and just may well buy another one the same.
Used with MacBookPro, virgin netgear wireless n router and iPhone 4.
Handy little camera - love it - does the job does nicely. I was originally going to place it outside but decided not to do that! - since we've just got a nice little hedgehog chap join the household - so its facing down directly onto its cage so we can view him remotely from our phones when he's playing around at night.
Night vision works really well in total pitchblackness, so while he's digging and hunting around we can see everything he's up to with no problems!
I have 3 of these cameras all connected to my wireless network with no issues :)
One thing I would like to see from this camera is the ability to upload a PICTURE clip rather than VIDEO to the web interface on eyespy247.com - at the moment it only uploads video, which is quite annoying as the video is bulky and always 3 seconds or so long - I would like just picture shots caught like the cameras predecessors! :o) - fixable in a software update?!

Finally a camera with everything you will ever need. Setup and ready to use within 15mins of opening the box.
The clarity is good, but audio is a bit 'tinny' but good enough to have 2 way conversation.
EyeSpy247 provide great service for both storage of files and sending of sms/emails.
Documentation in box is limited but all info is available from EyeSpy website in form of pdf's.
If you need an outside camera that does it all then this is the one for you.
